Shyron Beavers oversees Paragon's business development function within the federal market, including sales and program marketing, GSA Multiple Awards Schedule management, strategic development and alliances, and delivery solutions that ensure the company's continued success in meeting client requirements. Mr. Beavers has the distinction of being the first National Security Manager of the National Chamber Foundation, where he was responsible for establishing a Homeland Security Division within the U.S. Chamber of Commerce on behalf of its 3.5 million business members. In this capacity, Mr. Beavers provided analysis of homeland security policy and its impact on the private sector, advocated on Capitol Hill on behalf of the associations and members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and was instrumental in assisting homeland security focused businesses implement programs and secure procurements from the Department of Homeland Security.
Prior to his employment at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Beavers worked in various positions of increasing responsibility at the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, including as the Special Assistant to the Director and as the Senior Military Liaison to the Director of Fiscal Policy and Operations. Mr. Beavers additionally served for nearly fifteen years in the United States Navy, including as the Command Yeoman to the Commodore of the Pacific Afloat Training Group, and as Special Assistant to Admiral Mercer, where he functioned as liaison to the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Mr. Beavers attended Grambling State University, the United States Navy Senior Leadership Academy and various national security and force protection training programs sponsored by the Department of Defense. |
