Mr. Heda is the Executive Vice President for Healthcare consulting and is also an independent consultant/advisor for IT strategies and management in healthcare. His 35 years of healthcare experience includes CIO positions at multi-hospital systems which encompass Promina Health System Atlanta, Inova Health System Fairfax, Virginia, and Bethesda Hospitals Cincinnati. Mr. Heda has also held consulting and management positions at Superior Consultant and Medicus Systems. He is involved in healthcare management research at the University of Michigan in the Bureau of Hospital Administration.Mr. Heda led the development of various IT systems in the healthcare field and had total responsibility for the planning and deployment of IT systems supporting hospitals, physicians, and managed care organizations.Mr. Heda has been a speaker at numerous seminars and conferences throughout the United States and has written and published numerous articles. He served as chairman of ACHIA and for ISS of the Ohio Hospital Association and has held several advisory board positions with IT vendors and associations.Mr. Heda holds a M.S. from the University of Michigan and a B.E. from Birla Institute of Technology Pilani, India. |
