Shveta Kalyanwala is a program officer in the Population Council’s New Delhi office. She coordinates a small-grants program on research on sexual and reproductive health issues in Bihar and Jharkhand as well as the Health and Population Innovation Fellowship Program. Previously she designed and facilitated surveys, interviews, data analysis, and reporting for the DFID-funded project on building livelihoods skills and opportunities for adolescent girls in Gujarat. Prior to joining the Council, Kalyanwala was a researcher with the Educational Resource Unit, a program officer with HealthWatch Trust, and a program coordinator with PRIA, an independent, nonprofit voluntary development organization in New Delhi. She has been involved in designing, coordinating, and conducting training workshops and has also held several positions as a social worker.
