Shirley Smith is a supervisor in our Carson City office. She attended the University of Arizona majoring in Business Administration and Journalism. She continued her education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with emphasis on accouting and tax. Shirley has twenty years experience in the accounting field and prior to joining Freeman & Williams, LLP in 1987, she was employed with Seidman and Seidman, a national accounting firm in Las Vegas. At Seidman and Seidman, she was the manager of the Special Accounting Services Department specializing in accounting and tax matters of small businesses. While at Seidman and Seidman, she also served on the firm's national small business committee. Shirley is involved with numerous charitable organizations, serving as a member of their Boards of Trustees and as treasurer. |
