Professional Profile
Mr. Tangri´s practice involves all aspects of land use law relating to the entitlement and development of real property, including California Environmental Quality Act compliance and litigation. He has extensive experience in handling residential projects in cities all over Southern California, ranging from single family homes to master planned communities, and across a broad spectrum of income levels. His work on commercial developments focuses on high-profile mixed-use urban infill projects and shopping centers. Mr. Tangri has represented clients at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts around the country, as well as in mediation and other forms of dispute resolution. His expertise also includes complex multi-party and multi-site litigation involving water rights, environmental contamination, toxic torts, insurance coverage, and products liability issues.
Professional Recognition
Mr. Tangri was appointed in January 2008 to serve as a Trustee of the Bringing Back Broadway Initiative, which oversees efforts to revitalize the largest historic theatre district in the western United States. He also chairs the Downtown Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Planning & Land Use Committee.
