Mr. Kokudo has extensive experience in semiconductor engineering and market development through his 14 years at Intel Japan. As Engineering Manager Internet & Communications Group Japan, he managed more than 30 projects per year, including box products, cards, silicon chips and software products. He was also responsible for engineering NRE contracts with Epson, joint development projects with NEC and Fujitsu and negotiation with government officials at MITI and MOPT to deregulate JATE and defining the standard for ARIB. Engineering accomplishments include: development of real-time video capture hardware for PC communication, firmware for ISDN communication protocol as well as publishing the Project Implementation Plan (PIP), Product Requirement Document (PRD) and Product Target Spec (T-Spec) as a Technical Marketing Engineer. His responsibilities at Market Development Operation included evangalizing new product concepts for computer vision such as defining the Playback System Specification for Digital Motion Picture and designing chip sets for Digital Motion Picture Playback. |
