Appex was the fastest growing privately held company in the U.S. in 1990 (BusinessWeek). EDS acquired Appex in 1990. Open Market was one of the pioneering software providers for Internet based businesses. It was selected by several publications including Fortune as one of the leading entrepreneurial companies in the US. Before joining Appex Shikhar was a Partner of The Boston Consulting Group. He has been chosen by Business Week and Forbes as one of the leading Internet and technology entrepreneurs. He was the Chairman of the Massachusetts Software and Internet Council and serves on the boards of several private and public companies and nonprofit organizations. He got his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1980. |
