Sheryl Howard represents private and public clients in a variety of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, acquisition, sale, financing, land use and zoning matters. Her clients range in focus from telecommunications to education. She brings a business background to her work, having worked in corporate finance and securities matters at Foley Hoag before entering real estate practice.
Before entering active practice Sheryl had varied experience. She served as a legal intern at the Tompkins County Human Rights Commission, a county agency that investigates discrimination complaints in Ithaca, New York. She also was a legal assistant at an environmental and civil rights law firm in Albany, New York.
