Sherrie Porter is Vice President, Relocation & Business Development Services for Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell,Inc. Realtors. Sherrie joined EWM in 1987 after receiving a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University. During her tenure with EWM, Sherrie has been exposed to virtually every facet of the company making her ideally qualified to handle and oversee EWM's corporate relocation business. For the past 7 years, Sherrie has been responsible for the growth and successes of EWM’s Relocation Center where she is most proud of her staff’s accomplishments in winning several awards each year within The Leading Real Estate Companies of the World network. Sherrie currently serves on the LeadingRE Advisory Council as their Chairperson and also serves as a member of the Luxury Portfolio Advisory Board. She also is a member of several local area chamber of commerces and business development organizations. She is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Florida and holds the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation as well as the Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designation. She is also a member of the Florida Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Employee Relocation Council and the Southeastern Regional Relocation Council. Sherrie has also been a speaker at many regional and national relocation conferences. Sherrie oversees the Relocation and eCommerce divisions of EWM. She also directs the business development functions and is responsible for the identification of new revenue streams as well as maintaining corporate business accounts throughout the EWM network, managing corporate and bank owned properties, and working with numerous relocation organizations within the real estate industry. Sherrie and her team of professionals work in cooperation with hundreds of brokers across the world in identifying homes for relocating executives and individuals into South Florida, as well as buyers departing from the area. The scope of EWM's Relocation Services include home marketing assistance, home finding assistance, rental assistance, area orientation tours, personalized relocation kits, mortgage, title & insurance options, group move management, real estate disposition programs, policy analysis, consulting and development, household goods move management, expense management and international assignment services.
