Sherman S. Wan is an associate of the law firm McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Silicon Valley office. He is part of the Corporate Department and concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. His practice also includes significant intellectual property-related matters, including patent and trademark licensing and other technology transfer transactions. Representative clients include public and privately held companies in semiconductor design and manufacturing, telecommunications, enterprise security and biotechnology.
Prior to joining the Firm, Sherman served as in-house counsel for a CDMA chipset developer and a PC platform solutions and chip design company traded on the Taiwan Stock Exchange where he handled, among other matters, intellectual property transactions involving the creation, acquisition, protection and commercialization of technology. Sherman also served as an investment analyst for a Pan Asia venture capital firm.
Sherman is admitted to practice in California. He is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin).
