Sheri Ascencio, EVP of Marketing and Strategy Ms. Ascencio was a member of the original management team for FreightScan in 2002, and brings a valuable legacy component to the company. She formerly served as Director of Marketing for Palomar Ventures, an early stage venture capital fund with over $500 million under management, where she started soon after the first fund was established in April 1999. Prior to joining Palomar, Ms. Ascencio was the founder and CEO of several successful companies in the mortgage banking industry from 1990 to 1997. Previously, she was the Vice President of Marketing for Centre Development, a large commercial and industrial development firm. Ms. Ascencio earned an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA and a BA in Communications from Mills College. |
