Sheree S. Stomberg was named head of Operations and Technology for Citi Global Wealth Management in August 2005.
She is responsible for developing and leveraging technology and operations capabilities across Citi Investment Research, The Citi Private Bank, and Citi Smith Barney. She is a member of the Citi Global Wealth Management Leadership Team, the Global Technology Council, and Citi’s Management Committee.
From 2001 to 2005, Ms. Stomberg was global head of technology for Citi’s Cash and Trade division in the Global Transaction Services business. Her first role with Citi was as the head of the Citi Investment Bank’s Program Management Office from 1997 to 2000. Before joining Citi in 1997, Ms. Stomberg held a variety of positions at Swiss Bank (now UBS), including Head of Strategic Planning, Head of Operations, and Head of Technology for North America. She began her career in corporate finance at Swiss Bank.
She holds a master’s in international affairs from Columbia University and a bachelor’s from the University of Minnesota. She completed additional studies in economics and international affairs at Stockholm University and the University of Vienna.
Ms. Stomberg is an investor in and a member of the Vanguard of Leadership Conference at the Hunger Project, a global, strategic organization committed to the sustainable end of world hunger.
