Shepard joined Morganite, Inc. (later ECS) in 1990 as a Manufacturing Engineer. He has held various positions, including Manufacturing Manager for the Commutator Division and Engineering Manager for the Carbon Division. Prior to joining ECS, Shepard was an Analytical Engineer with United Technologies Pratt & Whitney. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from North Carolina State University and an M.S. in Engineering from University of Florida. In addition, he is a graduate of the Young Executives Institute at University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business. Shepard serves on the Advisory Board of NC State University Integrated Systems Engineering Institute (IMSEI). He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. |
