Shena Barlas joined Carlyle Group as Vice President in the firm’s Real Estate Practice. Her responsibilities include identifying and qualifying executive level talent, managing client relationships and developing new business for real estate clients nationwide. Shena has worked closely with the Practice’s pension funds, private equity, banks and financial institution clients and has completed search assignments across a wide array of functional disciplines. Shena brings over twelve years of search experience to Carlyle Group. Prior to joining the firm, Shena was the Director of Information Technology Recruitment at a global financial services technology search firm. Her clients included hedge funds, options trading firms and many Fortune 500 firms, for whom she placed key personnel in corporate finance and information technology positions. Shena was born and educated in Great Britain in Kent and Oxford. She has lived in the United States for over twenty-five years. Shena’s transcontinental life has given her an international perspective and a multicultural understanding. |
