As the leader of Cerner’s intellectual property division Ms. Spring is responsible for the design engineering sales marketing and overall executive leadership of the entire portfolio of Cerner Millennium® solutions. She also directs innovations in implementation and delivery approaches such as the Design Center which ensures a disciplined prescriptive approach to the design and implementation of client solutions.
Ms. Spring joined Cerner in 1989 as an engineer for the foreign systems interface group before transferring to Cerner Consulting. As a consultant she served as a project architect project executive practice director and vice president and partner. In 2000 Spring returned to the Cerner intellectual property organization as managing director for Access Management solutions and in 2002 she was appointed vice president and general manager of Access Management PowerInsight and Resource Planning . Her management responsibilities expanded in 2003 to include Revenue Cycle solutions. Under Spring’s leadership Cerner increased its global solutions presence through a strategic nationwide healthcare technology contract with the United Kingdom.
Prior to joining Cerner Ms. Spring was a systems engineer for Electronic Data Systems. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and computer information systems from William Woods College in Fulton Mo. |
