Sheldon Pollock has been a commercial banker for over forty five years. His experience covers a wide range of areas including bank administration, regulatory compliance, branch administration, bank operations, and commercial lending. He has specialized in lending to small and medium sized businesses, including start-ups and seasoned entities for a variety of purposes such as working capital, equipment, and real estate acquisition or refinance to name but a few. Whether a prospective borrower needs a line of credit, a term loan or a long term mortgage, Sheldon’s experience helps to arrange financing that is in the best interest of the client both in terms of cost and ability to repay. By giving fast, responsive service, Sheldon has assisted hundreds, if not thousands, of borrowers over his career. Among other positions, Sheldon has been a Director of St. Mary’s Hospital, the Waterbury Club, Naugatuck Valley Community Technical College Foundation, and the Connecticut Bankers Association and has served as President of the Connecticut Community Bankers Association. He has written extensively on banking topics for leading publications and has conducted seminars on lending to small businesses. He has been awarded the Financial Services Advocate of the year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Sheldon and his wife have been residents of Cheshire for the past thirty plus years having raised their three children there. |
