Sheldon A. Halpern joined the firm in 1986 and is a partner in the firm’s real estate department. He focuses on shopping centers and mixed use projects and has handled numerous department store, big box and supermarket transactions.
Over the years, his clients have included: Caruso Affiliated Holdings, Columbia Group, LTD., Combined Properties, Macy’s, Inc. (including Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s), Forum Development Group, Ralphs Grocery Company, Robertson Properties Group, Rodney A. Chase & Associates, RREEF, Transwestern Investment Company, Vintage Capital Group, LLC, Vornado Realty Trust, and Walton Street Capital.
Mr. Halpern received his J.D. in 1970 from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and was co-chair of the Moot Court Board. In 1967, he received his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
