Experience
Perform employee training regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation and other employment-related matters.
Counsel and assist employers in defense of employment litigation including claims for wage and hour violations, sexual harassment, gender discrimination, disability discrimination, wrongful termination in violation of public policy, retaliation, breach of contract, whistle-blowing, fraud and other employment claims.
Prepare employee policies, handbooks and severance agreements; conduct workplace investigations; and advise employers regarding state and federal laws.
Advise and assist in representing businesses regarding Employment Development Department audits, Department of Fair Employment and Housing investigations and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission investigations.
