Shawn Moaddeb has been in the medical device industry since 1982. He has broad experience in both start-ups and large organizations. Mr. Moaddeb’s experience spans responsibilities ranging from research and development, manufacturing engineering, global program management, and business development. Shawn spent 10 years at St. Jude Medical, Inc., Cardiac Rhythm Management division before joining Johnson & Johnson Biosense Webster division as Group Director of R&D in electrophysiology and cardiac ablation. He was co-founder and VP of R&D with MiCardia and then became Executive VP & Chief Operating Officer of Ellipse Technologies, Inc., a company he co-founded to develop devices for the treatment of morbid obesity. He holds 42 issued and pending patents. |
