Dr. Shawn M. Lanman joined Alexandria Clinic, P.A. June 1, 2000. Dr. Lanman grew up in Fremont, Nebraska. He received his B.S. in Biology and Ecology from Wichita State University, in Wichita, KS. Dr. Lanman then attended the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma, graduating in 1994. He served a one year rotating internship at Riverside Hospital in Wichita, Kansas and completed his general surgery residency through Michigan State University in Garden City, Michigan. Dr. Lanman performs general, endoscopic, laparoscopic, thoracic and vascular surgery. He received his Board Certification in General Surgery in the spring of 2001. Dr. Lanman is a member of the Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Lanman and his wife, Nina have three children; Sarah, Ellen and Cody. Dr. Lanman enjoys camping with his family, hunting, and ice fishing. |
