Shaun Francis is Senior Human Resources Manager for GE Transportation's Global HR organization.Shaun joined GE Transportation in February 2008. from GE Equipment Services, where he was the Senior HR manager for three years. Shaun joined General Electric in 1994 through the Company's Human Resource Leadership Program (HRLP) and worked on Union Relations and Employee Relations/Project Work at GE Industrial Systems. He then spent almost five years on the Corporate Audit Staff to gain understanding of GE businesses, with his last role as Senior Audit Manager. As an auditor he focused on many of GE's initiatives, including Sales Force Effectiveness, Quality, Global Sourcing, and eBusiness, and spent a total of nearly three years in Asia, Europe and Latin America. Shaun joined GE Energy in 2000 and has held a number of HR positions there, including HR manager for Gas Turbine Manufacturing in Greenville, S.C., Business Development/Mergers and Acquisitions activities in Atlanta, and GE Digital Energy, the joint venture between Energy and GE Industrial Systems. During his tenure at Power Generation, the business expanded to include global operations for the wind, hydro and Energy Products businesses. In March of 2006, Shaun joined GE Equipment Services in the role of Senior Human Resource Manager, headquartered in Stamford, CT. Prior to joining GE, Shaun held ositions in Human Resources at Xerox Corporation, NEC and Ingersoll Rand. He also served as a Certified Mediator for the New Justice Dispute Resolution Center in Oswego, N.Y. Shaun holds a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, where he served as the women's varsity softball coach. His hobbies include boxing, hockey, golf and coaching.
