Sharon Carothers joined Legacy in July 2001 and has served in a variety of roles supporting the Foundation's efforts to develop cessation programs and secure corporate partnerships. Sharon's primary responsibility is to create public and private sector partnerships that support the Foundation's consumer campaign to reduce adult tobacco use. From 1993-2001, Sharon held several positions in the public policy practice of The Lewin Group (Quintiles Transnational, Inc.) in their Northern Virginia and San Francisco offices. She holds masters degrees in public healthy and social welfare policy from Columbia University and Boston University and recently finished a certificate program in management and leaderhip at Wharton Business School. |
