Sharon Kaiser joined Cornerstone in July 2005 as Chief Financial Officer of Cornerstone Core Properties REIT, Inc. Ms. Kaiser is responsible for our finance and accounting, MIS, human resources and administrative functions. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Ms. Kaiser was Director of Financial Operations for Westfield America Inc, a $9 billion subsidiary of Westfield Group, one of the largest REITs in the world with approximately $25 billion in assets under management. From 1999 to 2002, Ms. Kaiser served as Chief Financial Officer of The StayWell Company, a subsidiary of Vivendi Universal, and from 1995 to 1999; she served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of HemaCare Corporation, a publicly-traded biomedical company. Her responsibilities included financial accounting and reporting, information technology, investor relations and human resources, as well as strategic planning and acquisition due diligence and integration. Before joining HemaCare Corporation, Ms. Kaiser served as the Chief Financial Officer of a publicly-traded (AMEX) REIT sponsored by The Koll Company. Earlier she spent eight years with Arthur Andersen and Co. Ms. Kaiser holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1981. |
