Sharon Donahoo is Senior Vice President, Human Resources for NextWave Wireless and NextWave Broadband. Prior to joining NextWave, Ms. Donahoo was co-founder and Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Cygnus Communications, Inc. with responsibility for corporate operations including finance, human resources, contracts, facilities, and corporate administration.
Ms. Donahoo brings over 25 years of operations management experience within the high technology industry. Prior to co-founding Cygnus Communications, she was Vice President Operations for Exten Industries, a publicly traded biotechnology company where she managed contracts, finance, SEC reporting, human resources, and administration.
Formerly, Ms. Donahoo was Vice President Corporate Communications and Investor Relations for Titan Corporation (TTN), a leading provider of comprehensive information and communications systems solutions and services to the Department of Defense, intelligence agencies, and other government and commercial customers. In this capacity, Ms. Donahoo had responsibility for media, employee, and community relations, as well as oversight responsibility for all marketing multimedia and financial publications, corporate branding, trade shows, Internet/intranet, and corporate advertising. Ms. Donahoo served as primary spokesperson for the company.
Ms. Donahoo began her career with Validity Corporation, a high technology communications systems service provider to the Department of Defense and achieved the position of Vice President Corporate Administration, Contracts, and Human Resources in 1987. In this capacity, she managed business operations in the areas of accounting, contracts, procurement, human resources, corporate administration, facilities, and industrial security. Validity was acquired by Titan in 1998 at which time Ms. Donahoo joined Titan Corporation.
Ms. Donahoo’s corporate background is extensive having been honed by companies experiencing rapid expansion, corporate mergers, and the development of infrastructure strategies and cost effective programs to meet short and long term business needs. |
