Sharad Rastogi is vice president of corporate development and general manager of Pinnacle Systems. In his corporate development role, Rastogi oversees strategic alliances, acquisitions, and new business opportunities. As general manager of Pinnacle Systems, he is responsible for building Avid’s presence and success in the consumer video sector.
Prior to Avid, Rastogi was a vice president and partner at management consulting firm Bain & Company, Inc., where he advised technology, media, venture capital, and private equity clients in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and post-merger integration. Before Bain & Company, he was senior automation engineer at hard-disk manufacturer Komag, Inc.
Rastogi holds a master of business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a master of science in manufacturing engineering from Boston University, and a bachelor of technology in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi. |
