A self-confessed know-it-all and information junkie, Shannon Paul was relieved to stumble upon a healthy outlet for her news addiction within the public relations profession.
At JB&A, Shannon provides assistance for such accounts as the North American International Auto Show, KPMG, OSRAM Sylvania, Macy’s North, International Automotive Components Group, Harley Ellis Devereaux and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. Shannon also worked as an intern with the Community Relations department of the NBA Detroit Pistons and WNBA Detroit Shock, Creative Breakthroughs in Troy, Mich. and at Henry Ford Community College in its Office of Public Information.
Her news addiction is nurtured at Madonna University (MU) where Shannon serves as a student reporter for the Madonna Herald campus newspaper, and her work as a freelance writer for The Oakland Press.
In addition to collecting annoying bits of trivia, Shannon enjoys shopping more than she would like to admit, nerd rock, spicy food, red wine, British sitcoms and 1970s cinema. Her heroes are Brainy Smurf, Oscar Wilde and Yoko Ono.
Shannon lives in a Far West Detroit neighborhood with her husband Adam and an octogenarian St. Bernard named Jupiter. |
