Effective January 2007, Shane Hammond was appointed President, RESX Technologies and leads the overall management, development, and delivery of the RESX booking solution and its peripheral applications on a global basis. He continues to serve on the TRX executive team and reports to TRX President & CEO, Trip Davis. Hammond and team focus on selling the RESX solution set via authorized travel agency distributors, directly to corporations, and through alliance partners.
Hammond joined TRX in October 2002 as Client Partner to lead key client relationships. He was promoted to Vice President, Client Services in December 2003 and later to Executive Vice President in May 2005 to apply a consistent, qualitative approach to TRX client relationships.
Prior to TRX, Hammond assisted Maritz Travel Company as an Account Executive for four years. He later went on to serve as Vice President for Carlson Wagonlit XTS, overseeing operations and marketing. Hammond then served as President and Partner at Carlson for six years managing all operational, marketing, and personnel activities with an emphasis on new business development and strategic planning.
Hammond is a Texas Tech University graduate with a B.B.A., Finance and an M.B.A. with a Marketing emphasis. |
