Dr. Famorzadeh comes to Nuesoft from Conexant Systems Inc., a semiconductor spin off from Rockwell International. As a lead System Architect on DSL technology, he helped Conexant to develop the first DSL Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) and the client ADSL solution.
Famorzadeh worked as a systems design engineer with Schlumberger Industries and as a full-time research engineer with the Center for Signal and Image Processing at Georgia Center for Advanced Telecommunications Technology. His work there included projects sponsored by the Advanced Technology Laboratories of Lockheed Martin, the Naval Research Laboratory in Maryland and the Department of Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA). As part of his doctoral thesis, Dr. Famorzadeh created a distributed software environment and architecture for developing signal processing applications over the Internet. Dr. Famorzadeh has published 13 articles in various journals and has filed three patents for DSL-related technology.
Dr. Famorzadeh received a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Tennessee in 1989 and an M.S.E.E. degree and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1990 and 1997 respectively. |
