Shahin Hedayat is Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Beceem Communications, Inc. Hedayat has more than twenty years of experience in the communication semiconductor industry, with a diverse background ranging from product definition and development to customer marketing. Prior to Beceem Communications, Hedayat co-founded Centillium Communications Inc. where he served as President. Centillium soared to $159 million in revenue and became a public company within four years from its inception. Previously, Hedayat spent eleven years at Cirrus Logic, where he became Vice President of Engineering for computer telephony products, and was the architect of V.32bis and V.34 products that achieved multi-million unit shipments. Hedayat earned a B.S.E.E. and M.S.E.E. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and is the named inventor on 9 U.S. patents. |
