Seymour Sy Taub joined Eisner & Lubin in 1971 and became a partner in 1979. He provides tax and accounting services for high-net-worth individuals and businesses in the real estate and service industries. Sy also specializes in cost segregation and lease consulting. In addition, he offers advice on partnership structure and income tax planning, and he deals with cases involving tax controversy. As the tax code continues to evolve in complexity, Sy praises the technology that helps process high volumes of information. The taxation authorities have been able to modify statutes and audit procedures with the innovations in information technology, he observes.
