Serguei has successfully completed search assignments for key senior leadership positions such as chief risk officers, heads of decision science/ modeling, portfolio managers, heads of call center operations as well as for senior finance and human resources leaders. He has recruited the talent that enabled his clients to infuse new "thought leadership" into the organization and significantly impact its performance and bottom line results. As the most recent example, Serguei has been entrusted by Discover Financial Services to assist in building out a world class leadership team and to recruit for a number of key positions in anticipation of the company’s spin off from Morgan Stanley and simultaneous initial public offering. Prior to joining CTPartners, Serguei was a director with Cook Associates, Inc. a boutique executive search firm, where he was recruiting for clients in financial services and technology. Earlier he was a director with A.T. Kearney Executive Search. Identifying top talent was Serguei’s focus while with American Express, where he managed the in-house executive recruitment function. Serguei started his career in search at Russell Reynolds Associates. Fluent in Russian, Serguei worked as a staff translator at United Nations headquarters. Serguei holds a B.A. in Translation from Moscow Language University and has completed graduate studies in library and information science at St. John’s University. He is based in the firm’s New York headquarters. |
