Sergio Grion has recently been promoted to Research Group Manager in our Multi-component department in Houston, USA. Reporting to Shuki Ronen, Sergio is concentrating on multi-component processing R&D.
Sergio started in the oil and gas industry in 1999 and has gained extensive experience with signal processing, depth migration, multi-component processing and wavefield separation.
Prior to joining Veritas in 2004, Sergio worked for five years in Gatwick, UK as a Senior Research Geophysicist, responsible for wavefield separation, multiple attenuation, multi-component technology and noise attenuation.
Sergio received an MsC in Electronic Engineering (1995) from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, and a PhD in Earth Sciences (1998) from the Universita' degli Studi di Milano, Italy.
