Seong-Woo (Simon) Lee, VP Asia Bus Dev & Korea Country Mgr Seong-Woo (Simon) Lee brings more than 25 years’ management and sales experience to his role as Vice President Asia Business Development and Korea Country Manager for Ethertronics. In this position, Lee oversees Ethertronics’ sales and business operations throughout Asia, as well as manufacturing in Korea. Before joining Ethertronics, Lee was the Chief Operating Officer for Metaware Co., Ltd., where he supervised the company’s development, production and export operations, which expanded his understanding and expertise regarding all the business environments of medium and small manufacturing companies in Korea. He also spent more than 20 years with Samsung Corporation, most recently serving as the General Manager of Samsung Corporation’s Information and Communication Business Department for eight years, where he was responsible for overseeing sales, and research and development operations for the company’s Satellite STB Project, which was the largest single domestic contract in the Digital STB history. At Samsung, Lee was also responsible for supervising the marketing plan and execution for the STB Brand Project, as well as overseeing the development, manufacturing, and corporate sales and marketing of the company’s Xing Pager Model. For eight years, Lee was the Deputy General Manager for Samsung Corporation’s Singapore Office where he supervised sales of the company’s electronic products. He was previously Assistant Manager for Samsung Corporation’s Special Business Department. Lee earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Korea University. In addition to being fluent in Korean, Lee speaks English, Chinese and Japanese. |
