Seema Balwada is a Vice President in the Investment Banking Department of The GMS Group, L.L.C. Seema has over seven years of experience in the corporate finance area including private equity and restructuring. Prior experience includes working as Senior Associate, Dolphin Capital, a healthcare venture fund and as Associate, Ernst & Young Corporate Finance in New York City. Her expertise includes financial/valuation analysis, financial modeling and structuring of M&A/LBO transactions and private equity/PIPE investments in various industries. Seema’s restructuring experience includes representing debtors, banks and creditors in various out-of-court restructurings/Chapter 11 bankruptcy including Teligent, Home Place of America, Inc. and Revlon. Seema holds a B.S. in Mathematical Statistics from Delhi University and earned her MBA with a concentration in Finance and Management from The Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University. |
