Sean Moriarty joined QLT USA, Inc. in October 2000 as Vice President, Licensing and Counsel. He later served as Vice President, Business Development, followed by Corporate Counsel, prior to his promotion in December 2006 to President.
Prior to joining QLT USA, Inc., Mr. Moriarty held the position of Director, Business Development and Strategic Analysis with Geneva Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (now Sandoz Inc.), and practiced law at Isaacson, Rosenbaum, Woods & Levy, P.C. in Denver, Colorado. For several years before attending law school, Mr. Moriarty designed rocket engines and propellant feed systems for satellites.
Mr. Moriarty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Applied Science from the California Institute of Technology. He has also received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law. |
