Sean Fenlon founded DoublePositive Marketing Group in 2004 after recognizing the tremendous opportunity that exists at the intersection of data-driven online marketing and live-human-based call centers. Sean has led the company to its current position as the industry leader in live leads for sales professionals. As CEO of DoublePositive, Sean is responsible for the company’s performance, strategic vision, and the continued development of DoublePositive’s patented business model and related optimization technologies. Sean began his career as a mortgage broker, growing his organization into one of the largest in the region during the mid- to late-90s. In 1999, Sean was the founder and CEO of ListenSmart.com, a business that helped to shift the music industry paradigm and leverage new opportunities for independent musicians. Most recently, Sean was the co-owner of TheLoanPage.com, an Internet mortgage leads company with a business model very similar to that of Lending Tree. Under his watch, TheLoanPage.com grew to over $10 million in sales and over $3 million EBIDTA before being sold to Battery Ventures at the end of 2003. The transaction represented the first-ever full acquisition of a company by Battery Ventures. Sean received his Bachelor’s degree in music from Towson University and his Masters and Doctorate in Music from The Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. |
