Sean M. Stack became senior vice president, treasurer and corporate development of Aleris International, Inc. on December 9, 2004 following the merger of Commonwealth Industries, Inc. and IMCO Recycling Inc.
He was appointed senior vice president and treasurer of Commonwealth in June 2004. From 2001 to 2004 he held the same position with Noveon Inc., a leading global producer of technologically advanced specialty chemicals for consumer and industrial applications with annual sales of over $2 billion. Earlier in his career, Mr. Stack served as vice president and treasurer of Specialty Foods Corporation and as a vice president at ABN AMRO Bank in commercial and investment banking.
He received a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and an M.S. degree in Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
