McNerney comes to OmniSonics with over 15 years of experience building high-performance sales teams in the medical device market. Prior to joining OmniSonics, McNerney worked for Datascope Corporation, where he was Vice President of Sales for the Interventional Products Division. While in that role, he led a sales force focused on vascular closure products for Interventional Cardiology and Radiology. He also served as the Vice President of Sales for Datascope's Intervascular Division, where he managed a direct sales force as well as distributors in North and South America to promote implantable grafts for Vascular and Cardiovasular Surgery. Mr. McNerney previously held sales and marketing positions at U.S. Surgical, a division of Tyco Healthcare, including Marketing Director for the Suture Division and Regional Sales Director for the New England region. His experience includes launching, promoting, and selling capital and disposable equipment for a broad range of surgical specialties including Gynecology, Urology, Thoratic, Vascular, Cardiovascular, Plastic and General Surgery.
McNerney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Communications/Marketing from Southern Connecticut State University. |
