Experience
Sean Sweeney joined Pierce Atwood as a member of the Litigation and the Intellectual Property Practice Groups in the Fall of 2006. Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Sean was involved in medical practice management and computer consulting.
Education
Sean received his B.A. in Classical Civilization from Colby College in 1998, a Master of Public Health and a Master of Arts in Medical Science from Boston University in 2000, and a J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law in 2006. At Maine Law, Sean received the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law.

Sean is admitted to practice in Maine, Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
