Mr. Menke joined the Board of Directors on Sept. 7, 2007, the same day he became Frontier's President and CEO. Menke brings over 15 years of airline experience, holding key leadership positions at Frontier Airlines, Air Canada, United Airlines and Western Pacific Airlines. At Air Canada, Menke was responsible for all commercial aspects of the airline's worldwide operations, including marketing, sales, scheduling, brand, research and product development, international affairs, alliances and Jetz: the carrier's specialty charter service. During his first tenure with Frontier, Menke oversaw a number of critical areas of the company, and led the development and launch in 2003 of the Company's "A Whole Different Animal" brand, which has become a hallmark of Frontier's marketing efforts. His experience also includes several positions with America West Airlines. Menke holds an executive MBA from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business and dual bachelor's degrees in economics and aviation management from The Ohio State University. |
