Scott Wiener has been a successful entrepreneur in the computer industry for more than eighteen years and previously founded three successful software companies before co-founding Cloud9 Analytics. He marries a strong technical perspective with hands on operating experience in both venture funded and public technology companies.Scott was previously CTO of Applications at Documentum, where he was charged with identifying and developing strategic Internet opportunities. Scott came to Documentum with its acquisition in 1998 of Relevance Technologies, a company he co-founded with Ford Goodman. At Relevance he drove the design and development of document and corporate analysis tools for the pharmaceutical and financial services industries. Previous to Relevance, Scott was CEO and co-founder of Common Knowledge, a distributed object management company acquired by CE Software in 1995, where he had overall responsibility for the company's operations including design and development.Scott began his career as CTO and founder of Ann Arbor Softworks. There he led the development of best-selling desktop productivity software products including FullPaint and FullWrite Professional. After its acquisition by Ashton-Tate in 1988, Scott was Chief Application Architect with responsibility for setting the technology strategy of all product development in the Applications. |
