Scott Walley brings over 20 years of experience in the wireless industry to Sequoia Communications and serves as vice president of systems engineering. Prior to joining Sequoia Communications, Dr. Walley was vice president of engineering at Morpho Technologies, a start-up company focused on software defined radio solutions for 3G/4G standards. He oversaw engineering and led activities for their next generation wireless products. Before Morpho Technologies, Dr. Walley held senior management roles at Skyworks Solutions (formerly Conexant) including his most recent role as director for 3G, where he led 3G system solution development activities. During his tenure at Skyworks, Dr. Walley successfully led GSM software, DSP, mixed signal device, and architecture and systems activities for chipset solutions for PHS, IS95, Edge, GPS, CDMA2000, and WCDMA. Dr. Walley held leadership roles in the development of over 17 wireless devices. Dr. Walley received a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from California State University at Fullerton and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering in 1995 from the University of California at Irvine. |
