Scott took over as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2005 with a vision to expand Claria's core technology offering beyond behaviorally targeted advertising to a broader personalization platform offering customized content and advertising based on each user's unique interests. This vision has led to the development of the Axon personalization platform that gives content providers the tools to make their applications and web sites more engaging for their consumers. Prior to his role as CEO, Scott led the sales organization at Claria for five years as Senior Vice President, Global Sales, where he drove revenues to over $100 million.
Prior to joining Claria, Scott served as the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Catalina Marketing, a company that provides database marketing solutions to key Fortune 1000 companies. In five years at Catalina, Scott spearheaded revenue and strategic deals. Prior to that, Scott was with Sullivan Marketing, Inc, a direct marketing media company and Leo Burnett Company, a full service international advertising agency. Scott holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Marquette University. |
