Dr. Scott Shemwell has been Chief Operating Officer of Wescorp Energy Inc. since October 2006. He is also president of Strategic Decision Sciences a consulting company specializing in business analytics and risk mitigation. He is a senior advisor to major energy companies where he emphasizes lean energy concepts. His background and expertise make Dr. Shemwell uniquely qualified to guide energy companies to create economical efficient digital oilfields of the future.
For over 25 years Dr. Shemwell has led the turnaround and transformation process for global S&P 500 organizations as well as start-up and professional services firms. His specific experience includes executive management information management mergers and acquisitions change management and international businesses.
Dr. Shemwell has held numerous senior management positions throughout his career including business unit head with P & L responsibility and a member of executive leadership team with Halliburton Energy Services; Managing Director Solutions Group (Energy Division) EDS/MCI Systemhouse and with Oracle where he served as Vice President Energy Practice driving the company’s business development efforts for the $10 billion firm’s global energy and chemical business sectors. |
