In his role as vice president and general manager for the company's IP co- processor division, Scott Sarnikowski jointly manages the division and is responsible for its strategic, tactical and business elements. He drives business strategy for network search engines and content inspection engines with primary responsibilities including strategic and product marketing, business development, and management of customer relationships and partnerships. Sarnikowski has extensive experience in new business development, including creating and driving business plans and customer design-ins, defining new products, and developing launch strategies and messaging.
Sarnikowski joined IDT from Raza Foundries, Inc., a venture capitalist firm focused on the global information infrastructure, where he served as the vice president of marketing. In this role, Sarnikowski drove the early building of partner companies, developed new business and strategic marketing plans, managed product definition and hiring of start-up marketing organizations, and led market intelligence efforts. Prior to Raza Foundries, Sarnikowski served as vice president of marketing for Internet Dynamics Inc. where he was responsible for all outbound and strategic marketing activities. Sarnikowski also held the role of director of product management while leading strategic marketing and engineering for the access products division of ADC Telecommunications. Additionally, he served in various marketing and engineering positions at Cisco Systems, Apple Computer and Tandem Computers.
Sarnikowski earned a master's degree in psychology from San Jose State University and bachelor of science degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley. Sarnikowski has also completed his exams and course work toward a Ph.D in developmental psychology from the University of Minnesota. |
