Scott Pinsonnault joined American Capital in November 2005 as a Vice President in the Dallas office. Prior to joining American Capital, Mr. Pinsonnault was a Vice President of General Electric Energy Financial Services - Oil & Gas. While at Energy Financial Services, and its predecessor The Structured Finance Group, Mr. Pinsonnault underwrote and managed over $1B of upstream oil & gas and power generation assets. He is a named inventor for his work on a web-based, commercially-successful oil & gas private equity investment management system.
Prior to joining General Electric in August 2000, Mr. Pinsonnault was a geologist with Texaco Exploration & Production where his responsibilities included responsibility for asset acquisition and divestiture and the generation of drilling opportunities in the onshore Gulf Coast region.
Mr. Pinsonnault holds a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University, a Master of Science in Geology and Geophysics from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from St. Lawrence University. |
