Mr. Petty is a managing director and founding partner of vSpring Capital, an early stage venture capital fund focused on IT and Biotech opportunities. vSpring was a co-lead in LignUp's Series A round of funding. Prior to vSpring, Mr. Petty was COO and a board director of Zuka Juice, a retail organization selling nutritional products. Under Scott's leadership, Zuka Juice grew from its first store to 96 retail units and over 400 employees until being acquired by Jamba Juice. Previous to Zuka Juice, Scott was a consultant with Bain & Company for seven years, where he worked with more than 16 companies re-engineering their strategies for optimum results. Mr. Petty received a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. |
