Scott Parks joined the Buffalo Rock Company in 1979 and has over 30 years of manufacturing experience. He began his career with the Continental Can Company where he produced the cans for the Buffalo Rock Company.
Scott began his career at Buffalo Rock as a Syrup Blender and was quickly promoted to Supervisor of the Syrup Department. Within the next year he joined the management team at Buffalo Rock overseeing the Sanitation, Water Treatment, Syrup Blending and Post Mix Operations.
In 1985, Scott was promoted to the position of Quality Control Manager and later was promoted to the position of Production Manager. At one point Scott was the manager of both the Production and Quality Control departments. From 1995 to May of 2006 Scott served as General Manger of Corporate Manufacturing.
In May, 2006, Scott was promoted to Executive General Manager of Corporate Manufacturing, Facilities & Operations and in December, 2006, was named Vice President over the same areas. He is responsible for all activities surrounding raw materials, manufacturing, purchased goods, warehousing & facilities, general operations, as well as all logistics / distribution efforts.
Scott has lived in the Birmingham area his entire life and was born in Bessemer in 1958. He graduated from Hueytown high School in 1976 and has taken many classes surrounding quality and production through the Pepsi Cola Company.
He now resides in Morris with his wife Tracy and daughter Rachel. His oldest daughter, Robin is pursuing her Master's Degree at Vanderbilt University, while his son David is a senior at The College of Charleston, South Carolina.
Scott and his family are active members of Gardendale Mount Vernon United Methodist Church. Scott's hobbies are golf and gardening. |
