Scott Palmer has over 25 years of experience working with several companies offering services and business solutions for outpatient healthcare facilities. As the founder and president of Temple Information Systems, Palmer managed that company’s transition into a nationwide provider of information systems for the outpatient surgery industry. After Temple’s acquisition by HealthIS, he served as the chief operating officer, and later chief executive cfficer, of HealthIS. Under Palmer’s leadership, HealthIS became a leading provider of clinical and administrative applications for ambulatory surgical centers with over 600 clients, including many of the major national chains. After HealthIS was acquired by SourceMedical in 2001, Palmer directed SourceMedical’s surgery market strategy as senior vice president of SourceMedical’s Surgery Division. Palmer then founded Prescient Healthcare Systems, a boutique provider of innovative information management solutions for ambulatory surgery centers, which was subsequently acquired by SourceMedical in mid 2006. More recently, Palmer helped launch CTQ Solutions, a company providing ambulatory surgery facilities with patient satisfaction measurement and benchmarking services. Palmer is a frequent speaker and author on a variety of subjects related to the implementation of technology for surgical facilities and has worked as a consultant with a number of independent facilities and corporate development companies. |
