Featured as a "Game Making God" and "kind of sports" games in Wired magazine May 2001.Creator of such industry hit franchises as John Madden Football, NHL Hockey, NASCAR Racing, Knockout kings Boxing, and Eagle Eye Mysteries, SCott had directly designed and produced titles that have generated over $2 billion in sales for Electronic Arts, Activision, and other major game publishers. 90% of his original titles have been profitable and 50% have been top-ten selling "hits". In 2001, after ten years with Electronic Arts, Scott left to start the #2 leading mobile game publisher Sorrent (now called Glu Mobile) where he served as CEO until October 2004 and as Chairman and CCO until February 2004. In May 2004 SCoott resigned from the Sorrent board to focus his full attention on Bigdog Games, Inc., a next-gen game studio. |
